Auction Car Collection and Delivery Across the UK
Buying at auction is a fast way to get a car, but the car still has to get from the yard to you. Local Tow Truck arranges auction car collection and delivery for buyers who have won or bought vehicles at Copart, BCA, Motorflog, IAA, Manheim, Aston Barclay and other UK auction platforms.
We handle runners and non-runners. A runner is driven onto a transporter or driven short distances by our driver. A non-runner is loaded onto a flatbed or wheel-lift truck so it can be moved safely without further damage.

Copart Car Collection and Delivery
If you have bought a car at Copart, we can collect it from the Copart yard and deliver it to your address. Copart buyers usually have a lot number and a reference ID in their account or on their invoice. Send both with the yard address, and we will match them to the right vehicle before we attend.
Copart yards may need release details or other paperwork before a car can be taken away. Check the Copart buyer guidance linked below, and send us anything the yard has asked you for so the collection is not delayed.
BCA Car Collection and Delivery
BCA auction purchases can be collected from BCA sites and delivered to your home, garage, bodyshop or dealer. Send your BCA lot number, reference and the collection site, along with your delivery address and preferred date. We will confirm the pickup window and price before the job is booked.
Motorflog, IAA, Manheim and Other Auction Platforms
We also collect cars bought through Motorflog and other UK auction platforms, including IAA, Manheim, Aston Barclay, John Pye and G3 Remarketing. If your car is listed on a different platform, send us the lot number and yard address and we will confirm whether we can collect it.

We confirm the price, pickup window and what the yard needs from you, such as release paperwork.
4. Safe collection
Our driver collects the car, checks its condition and takes photos before it is loaded.
5. Live tracking

6. Delivery and handover

What to Send Us: Lot Number and ID
To book a collection quickly, please send:
- Auction platform (Copart, BCA, Motorflog or other)
- Lot number and the auction reference ID
- Yard or collection address and any gate or release details
- Your delivery address and preferred date
- Vehicle make, model and whether it runs or is a non-runner
- Your mobile number for the driver and WhatsApp live tracking
Safe Collection and Delivery
Our drivers check the vehicle at pickup, note its condition and take photos before the car is loaded. If the car is a non-runner, it is secured on a flatbed or wheel-lift truck. At delivery we check the car again with you and take photos at handover, so you have a clear record of its condition.
Please check your own insurance cover for the car while it is being moved, and ask your driver for details before you book.

WhatsApp Live Location From Pickup to Delivery
Once your car is collected, we share WhatsApp live location with you so you can see where it is from pickup until delivery. You do not need to chase for updates. If the collection or delivery window changes, we will message you on WhatsApp with the new time.

Non-Runners and Damaged Auction Cars
Many auction cars are non-runners or damaged. Tell us if the car has a flat battery, will not steer, has no keys or has been in an accident. We can send a flatbed or wheel-lift truck, and a jump start or battery boost where the car may still be started on site.

Advisory for Buyers
Before you buy, read the official guidance from the auction house and check the vehicle with GOV.UK:
- Copart UK: buy, bid and collect vehicles
- Copart UK: vehicle loading and viewing (collection guidance)
- BCA: UK vehicle auctions for buyers
- Check vehicle tax (GOV.UK)
- Check MOT status (GOV.UK)
- The Highway Code (GOV.UK)
Always check the car’s history, V5C and any write-off category before you bid.
